Halloween Houses Spook Trick-or-Treaters

Sandy Simmons, of Belpre, started decorating her home yesterday in preparation for trick-or-treaters.

She says she has been adding to her collection of decorations for the past 20 years and she buys each new piece knowing where she will place it.

Fog and mechanical figures are 2 of the biggest features she has in her house of horrors. One Parkersburg resident says this is his favorite holiday for many different reasons.

"The scares, the fun, the kids faces. Kids love Halloween so just gotta please the kids," says spooky decorator Michael Lupardus.

Lupardus says they are hoping to build up to a full haunted house in the near future.
