If you are an historic ship enthusiast, the Marietta Marina has an event you don't want to miss.
For the first time since 2009, the Nina and Pinta-Columbus Replica Ships will return to the Valley from October 12-21.
The ships are traveling throughout the country so folks can learn more about the significance of Christopher Columbus' journey to the U.S.
Educator and program director, Glenna Hoff tells us what people can learn at the event.
"They get to learn a little bit about the history of the boats and why they were built and how they were built, and the exciting journey that Columbus has made in 1492" says Hoff.
General admission for adults is $8, seniors $7, kids ages 5-16 $6 and those under the age of 4 are free.
Hours are from 9 am til 6 pm.
