Oil and Gas Museum Host Parkersburg History Presentation

Celebrating our state's birthday by learning about it's history.

The Oil and Gas Museum celebrated West Virginia's 150th birthday tonight with a history of Parkersburg presentation in the Judge Black Annex.

Historian Dave McKain told the story of Parkersburg's role as a city and it's residents in the creation of West Virginia.

Key figures including Arthur Boreman and J.J. Jackson played key roles in making West Virginia what it is today.
