Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Household hazardous waste collection and paint swap day is being held Saturday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m at Solvay Employee Park in Marietta.

There is no cost.

The following will be accepted:
insecticides, herbicides, pesticides, antifreeze, watch batteries, used oil, rat poison, solvents, transmission fluid, household cleaners, gasoline, auto batteries, fertilizers, stains, paint, household batteries, wood strippers, creosote, bleach moth balls, pool chemicals kerosene, radiator cleaners, grease, ammonia, sealants, degreasers, cesspool cleaners, photo chemicals, brake fluid, engine cleaners, metal polish, paint thinner, fluorescent light tubes & bulbs, glue, automotive freon, varnish, lighter fluit, oil filters, diesel, adhesives, propane cylinders

NO: ammunition, explosives, fireworks, smoke detectors, radioactive material, gun powder, flares, pressurized fire extinguishers, electronics, tvs, appliances, tires

No industrial, commercial, government, or agricultural generators
