Hunter's Heros Bingo

Playing bingo to help support a cause.

That's what one parent in Reno is doing to help support her son.

Cassidy Miller held the Hunter's Heros Bingo Sunday afternoon at the Old Reno School.

The event is a benefit to help support the March of Dimes.

Her son, Hunter, spent 13 months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.

He suffered severe breathing and lung problems.

People attending got to play 20 games of bingo along with a chance of winning several prizes.

But the true winner of this fundraiser is Hunter.

"This is a honor to come out to the community just for one that we want to make everybody aware that babies are born too soon and by having my son being a representative to the community, it just lets everybody know that hey you can come out and support a cause," says Miller.

Hunter has been home for six months with a liter and a half of oxygen 24 hours a day and a g-tube for feeding.

There will be a meet and greet for everyone to see him on Sunday May 19th from 1-3 pm at the Old Reno School in Reno.
