Lane closures are planned for a portion of I-77 for the next few weeks.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says beginning Tuesday, October 22, the northbound driving lane on I-77 will be closed for a paving project.
The paving will start near the State Route 821 intersection in Washington County and continue to the Noble County line.
The paving will be completed in two mile sections.
The northbound driving lane will be paved first, followed by the southbound driving lane.
Crews will then move to the northbound passing lane before finishing on the southbound passing lane.
The project is expected to be finished by the end of November.
Drivers are reminded to slow down, obey speed limit reductions and use caution through the work zone.
