It may seem like summer will never end but when it does, landscaping experts say, fall is the best time to plant.
Greenleaf Landscapes General Manager, Dave Fleming, says fall is the perfect time to tend to your garden and lawn. Fleming says the cooler temps and seasonal precipitation help keep gardeners encouraged-- and plants and flowers nice and green.
"It's understated but fall is for planting. Everybody thinks that April, May and June is the best time for planting," Fleming says. "I prefer September, October to do most of your landscaping. It puts a lot less stress on your plants. It's an excellent time of year to take advantage of the cool weather and frequent rain that we have."
