Some fun in the dark over at Point Park!
The Kicks For Kids 5K race took place Saturday night under the lights, bringing glow sticks and more to light up the streets of downtown Parkersburg.
Over 150 runners supporting the cause, helping give shoes to local kids who need them.
"It's nice that we can take some of the money and give it back to the local community and be able to provide a service to the kids that can't afford a pair of shoes that we can provide that for them," says Andy Nestor, race coordinator.
Also a prize for the most glowing costume!
It goes to Kristin Beatty.
She covered her wheelchair in lights and glow sticks.
Kicks For Kids was also a series race for the River City Runners and Walkers Club.
