A gas line replacement project will result in lane closures on WV 14 South Wednesday and Thursday nights.
The West Virginia Division of Highways says Dominion Hope is replacing a gas line on WV 14 South beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 at the junctions of 26th Street and Ohio Avenue.
This will cause lane closures on WV 14 South between the traffic circle and the Parkersburg Memorial Toll Bridge.
Traffic will be down to one lane as work is completed across the three southbound lanes.
The sidewalks in the area will also be affected.
The work will likely take two nights, but the lane closures on WV 14 South will be reopened to traffic at 7:00 each morning.
Drivers should take a different route when possible.
