People living in north Parkersburg now have a new thrift store.
The Latrobe Street Mission opened the store last Friday .
It's open from Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
Workers say the store has been a great success so far.
They say they receive steady crowds all coming to buy things while helping the shelter out.
General prices for all items range from 25 cents to $15.
The thrift store also benefits those staying at the shelter.
"I think it's just an awesome thing that God has put into all of our lives to help the people. And be able to serve meals and they have a place to sleep, they have a place to come to," says Sandy Stewart of the Latrobe Street Mission Thrift Store.
People can donate clothes and other items to the thrift store on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during regular business hours.
All proceeds from the store will go to the Latrobe Street Mission.
