Less Fatalities in Ohio This Holiday

The lowest number of fatalities over Thanksgiving weekend in three years in Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says there were 11 fatalities this Thanksgiving holiday weekend, compared to 17 last year, 18 in 2010, and 20 in 2009.

Four of those eleven were from a single car accident in southwest Ohio, where alcohol is suspected.

The Patrol says none of those eleven were wearing a seat belt.
They also say they arrested over 450 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

West Virginia State Police says information about West Virginia will be made available soon.
