Thousands across the U.S. have traveled to Las Vegas today to get married with the special date in mind.
But one local couple decided to exchange their vows at Fort Boreman Park overlooking the city in which they live.
Larry and Tracy Munday started dating when they were sixteen years old and chose this special day to officially join their lives together in marriage.
Tracy says this day is special not only because of the date, but also because Larry is a veteran.
"It's lucky. We've been planning it. We talked about it a year ago and I said 11-11-11," says bride Tracy Munday. "He works out of town and he's in town and it was all right. Today was the day. Today is the day."
Today is the day for those lucky in love.
