In another case of Animal Cruelty, the Washington County Sheriff's Office says neighbors of Nicholas Rymer say they've seen him punch, kick and even choke his dog on multiple occasions.
Another neighbor says they also saw him shooting at his dog with a bb-gun.
Deputies say the Macksburg man admitted to hitting the dog to discipline it, but denied ever using excessive force.
Rymer is charged with cruelty to animals
The dog has been taken to the humane society.
