Pseudoephedrine was a big topic at the Vienna Council meeting Thursday evening.
The council opened the discussion and floor to the public to get their take on making the common cold drug a prescription medication.
With a large number of people in attendance, the council listened to wants and dislikes of this possible ordinance.
"I do not feel that all citizens should require a prescription to purchase pseudoephedrine, mainly the reason is because you have to go to a doctors office, you have to pay a co-pay or pay the doctor to get the prescription," says Bruce Rogers of the City of Vienna Council.
The council will visit this ordinance again at a later date.
