A traffic stop leads police to multiple stolen electronics, and the name of the thief's next victim.
Parkersburg Police say early Sunday morning they pulled over a car for broken equipment near Juliana Street.
Joshua Whitlock was the passengar in the car, and was found to have an active warrant for petit larceny. Police say he stole a cell phone from a business on 7th Street last month.
Whitlock was taken out of the car to be arrested, but officers found even more stolen goods. They found a bag with a computer and comptuer equipment valued at over three thousand dollars.
Police also found a name in the bag, which they later discovered was the name of the victim of the theft.
Whitlock is charged with felony grand larceny and is awaiting arraignment.
Warrants are expected to be filed on the driver in the next few days.
