20-year-old Travis Berry receives one to five years of prison for child abuse after hitting his 22-week-old son in the face because he was crying.
Berry does have the potential to earn 20 years supervised release.
Pakersburg Police arrest a man for child abuse.
Police say 20-year-old Travis Berry hit his 22-week-old son in the face because he was crying.
The baby now suffers swelling and bruises to his forehead, face and ear.
Berry faces charges of child abuse resulting in injury and a $65,000 bond, which he failed to post.
The child's condition is unknown at this time.
