Man Behind Bars For Alleged Meth Manufacturing

A man is behind bars for allegedly manufacturing meth in Wood County Sunday evening.

Vienna police responded to a loud noise complaint Sunday in a subdivision when an officer found a truck parked suspiciously in a wooded area.

The officers found Joshua Paul Cottrill and numerous components commonly used for the manufacturing of meth.

Cottrill then told officers he was attempting to make the drug.

According to authorities the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force was called in to investigate.

He was charged with one felony count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory.

Cotrrill is currently behind bars at the Wood County holding facility where he will be arraigned later Monday morning.
