A scary start to Halloween for one Parkersburg biker who finds himself in the hospital Thursday morning.
The Parkersburg Police Department says it happened around 6:45 this morning at the intersection of Market and 5th Streets.
A biker was traveling on Market Street while a truck was turning onto Market from 5th Street. The biker says the next thing he knew he was across the street and on the ground.
The biker was transported to the hospital, but police say he was conscious and talking. Officials say his condition is unknown.
Authorities says the scene is still under investigation and it's still unclear if the truck hit the biker or if the biker wrecked on his own.
The investigating officer says the vehicle had no signs of a collision. The driver was questioned and then let go.
