Marietta College is making a difference in the community with a blood drive on Saturday.
It's part of "Make a Difference Say" where students sponsor a blood drive for the community.
Marietta Memorial Hospital's blood mobile was on campus.
Nurses took blood from anyone willing to donate and students were more than willing to volunteer their time for a cause that stays local.
"Well this is something that's by the community, for the community because all the blood stays local so it's something that if you come here and donate blood, you know it's going to stay in the area and it's going to help your fellow community members," says student Carolyn Simon.
The blood mobile travels all over Washington County.
