UPDATE: Three People Confess in Car Wash Theft

Three people are questioned in connection with a car wash theft.

The Marietta Police Department says Samantha Linger, Tabatha Cain and Aaron Brooks admitted to stealing change from the B&M Car Wash on Pearl Street.

Investigators say about two weeks ago the three were caught on camera breaking into two vacuum stations and two car wash coin boxes.

Summons have been requested for all three to appear on a charge of tampering with coin machines.

The Marietta Police Department says tips from the public helped lead them to the suspects.
Marietta Police are looking for three suspects in a car wash theft.

Police say it happened September 20 at the B&M Car Wash at 615 Pearl Street.

They say overnight, two women and one man broke into two vacuum station and two car wash station coin boxes.

The coin boxes were cut and pried open and all of the coins removed.

A surveillance camera captured photos of the three people.

The Marietta Police Department is asking that anyone with any information about the suspects call 740-373-4141.
