Several of area businesses were awarded for their services in Marietta Monday night.
It's all part of Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau's annual meeting and awards ceremony.
Bureau members addressed the progress with the organization from last year.
Fairfield Inn and Suites received the trailblazer award for being the new business in the bureau for less than three years.
ReStore Marietta was named partner of the year and Valley Gem Sternwheeler took home the legacy award.
Joe Veneto, author of "The Travel Packaging System", was on hand speaking to everyone about the importance of consumers wanting to do their traveling plans all at one spot.
"Creating those opportunities with our membership for our packages because the traveler is looking for a one stop shop. They want that ability to be able to click on one button, buy a package and then have all their traveling met in that one package," says Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director, Jeri Knowlton.
The meeting will be followed Tuesday morning by packaging workshops with Veneto.
This will give bureau members the opportunity to work with other members to build vacation packages for their destination.
