A Meigs County man is sentenced for killing his father.
James E. Gardner pleaded guilty to one county of murder and one count of aggravated robbery, both felonies.
He killed his father, James E. Gardner in November of last year at his house in Middleport, Ohio.
He then stole his dead fathers truck, ATV and credit cards.
Following the plea agreement, he was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.
Bond is set for a Meigs County man accused of murdering his father.
James E. Gardner was arraigned Friday in Meigs County.
He's charged with aggravated murder and three counts of aggravated robbery.
Gardner is accused of murdering his father, James W. Gardner, at his home in Middleport and stealing a truck, atv and credit cards from his dead father in November 2011.
His bond is set at nine hundred thousand dollars. His trial begins in March.

The Meigs County Sheriff's Office says James W. Gardner was found dead in a home off Paulins Hill Road on Sunday night.
They're not releasing how he died, but Sheriff Robert Beegle confirms he was murdered.
The victims son, James E. Gardner is wanted as a person of interest in the murder, but he's on the loose.
Police say he's a white male, with blonde hair, green eyes. He's six feet tall and weighs 175 pounds.
They believe he's driving a 2001 dark blue Dodge Ram with the license plate FNC8396.
No further details are being released at this time and the murder is under investigation.
