'Tis the season to be shopping in Marietta as hundreds hit the street for the annual Merchant And Artist Walk.
Residents from all around crowded Front Street Friday evening to take a look at what local merchants and artist have in stock for the holiday season. Business owners say the event is a great way to kick off the holidays.
"Merchant have their door open. Refreshments and lots of holiday gift ideas," says Teri Ann's owner, Teri Ann Zied Pfeffer. "It should be a perfect night for holiday shopping downtown."
The Marietta/Washington County Convention & Visitors Bureau and ReStore Marietta are also teaming up to host the third annual Merry-Etta Moonlight Savings event on December 3rd from 5 - 12p.m. Shoppers could earn up to 50% off their entire purchase that evening.
Additionally, the Marietta community will be hosting a series of Hometown Holiday weekends November 12- December 31. Events range from historic home and loft tours to carriage rides, parades, ,light exhibits and more.
