On Friday Major Crimes Task Force agents arrested Brandon Walters for making meth.

Going off a tip, agents executed a search warrant at 715 Greene Street
Apartment A in Marietta.

Agents found pseudoephedrine and others chemicals Walters said he bought in order to resell to a friend to make meth.

Walters admitted to making a small amount of meth at that address in October of last year.

Items seized during the search are typically used to make meth with the "one pot" or "shake and bake" methods.

Walters is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine within the vicinity of a school, a first degree felony.

He also faces a second degree felony charge of illegal assembly of drug making chemicals within the vicinity of a school.

He's in the Washington County Jail without bond until he appears in Marietta Municipal Court on Monday.
