Ohio's Attorney General says it's meant to make meth lab clean up cheaper and faster.
A methamphetamine chemical storage container comes to Athens.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced Monday containers were installed at five locations around the state, including the Athens Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
DeWine says law enforcement officers can safely take chemicals from a meth lab scene to the containers.
He says officers will no longer have to guard drug cleanup scenes.
From October 2012 through this month, Ohio law enforcement agencies have busted 770 meth labs, as compared to 607 labs the previous year.
