Local woman makes good.
Miss West Virginia 2014, Charisse Haislop stopped in Parkersburg Monday to see her fans.
Haislop posed for photos and signed autographs at Eckels Orthodontics, where Dr. Eckels is sponsoring her for her Miss USA preparation.
The Parkersburg native will compete for the crown later this year.
"He is perfecting my smile so that I have a million dollar smile on national televison and hopefully this June live on NBC representing our great state of West Virginia," says Haislop. "So he's nice enough to do that for me so I'd like to do a meet and greet for him here today."
Haislop says she wants her fans to know she takes great pride in where she's from and she loves Parkersburg a lot.
She currently lives in Huntington, but comes back into town to visit her family all the time.
