Update: Nitro Man Facing Kidnapping Charges

A hearing-impaired man accused of abducting a 15-year-old Grafton girl will be arraigned on a kidnapping charge as soon as a magistrate can arrange for an interpreter.

Taylor County magistrate court clerk Brenda Vance says 20-year-old Joshua Duff of Nitro will appear on the kidnapping charge before Magistrate James Lucas.

Both Duff and alleged victim Sarah Isner are hearing-impaired.

The girl vanished January 30 and was found Tuesday night in the Ritchie County town of Burnthouse.

Duff is also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, trespassing, fleeing an officer and obstruction.

Bond on the Ritchie County charges is set at $11,000.
Grafton, W.Va. (AP) -- A missing 15-year-old girl is back with her family, and the man she was found with is now behind bars.

State police troopers found Grafton resident Sarah Isner unharmed in an abandoned house near the town of Burnthouse Tuesday night and turned her over to her family. The Ritchie County Sheriff's Department participated the investigation.

State police say 20-year-old Joshua Duff of Nitro has been arraigned on several misdemeanors, including two counts of obstructing, two counts of fleeing an officer, trespassing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The Dominion Post reports that two area residents identified Duff and alerted authorities who had been looking for him since Isner went missing Jan. 30.

Duff was in the North Central Regional Jail on Wednesday.
