Jessica Daugherty was arrested Saturday night for felony child neglect.
At about 11 p.m. officers responded to the Econo Lodge on 7th Street.
Daugherty was in a room with her 4-year-old daughter and another woman. Officers say Daugherty smelled of alcohol and both women appeared drunk.
Officers found crushed Adderall and hypodermic needles within the child's reach. They also found three knives near the child.
Child Protective Services helped with the investigation. The girl was released to a family member.
Daugherty was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court.
She's in the North Central Regional Jail after failing to post her $10,000 bond.
