Police have now released the names of the two people involved in the motorcycle accident outside the Marietta Walmart Friday afternoon.
Police say a F250 truck driven by 66-year-old David Spindler of Pleasants Ridge Road was turning left into Capt D Seely Mia Dr next to Walmart and did not see the motorcycle.
30-year-old William Beebe of Arends Ridge Road was traveling east on Pike Street when the two collided.
Officers say upon impact Beebe was thrown from the motorcycle.
Beebe was taken to Marietta Memorial and then transported by helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Raymond Bailey was nearby and says, he just did what he knew to do to help while they were waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
"(I) saw the victim laying there in the medium here, and he appeared not to be breathing so I went back to my truck and got my CPR mask and gloves and come up, got his airway clear and maintained it until the EMT's from Marietta showed up and actually took over," said Raymond Bailey, Warren Township resident.
Police say the accident is still under investigation.
Police say the condition of the victim is not known at this time.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol are assisting Marietta Police Department in the investigation.
