New Captains at Marietta Salvation Army

By  |

New to the area and ready to help.

The Marietta Salvation Army has two new captains.

Aaron and Wanessa Moore are the new officers, relocating from Delaware, Ohio.

They have been officers in the Salvation Army for five years now, making them captains.

They have only been here a week and already say they love the area and how welcoming everyone has been.

Funding is a big issue right now after having to close the thrift shop last fall.

The captains are working towards fundraising and building the Salvation Army back up.

One thing already happening is Sally Ann's Closet, a small clothing thrift shop for those in need.
