UPDATE: Names Release In Blennerhassett Hotel Stabbing

According to Parkersburg Police, it was alleged that Stratton was under the influence of an undetermined substance. Last night Stratton was charged with one felony county of malicious wounding and transported to the hospital to be cleared for incarceration.

Stratton posted a $10,000 bond today and was released.

Blennerhassett General manager Cecil Childress says Bert Fleming has been treated and released. He suffered a cut to his head and had stitches.

Childress also confirmed that Stratton was a guest of the hotel and with a group when the incident took place.

He says hotel security and the Parkersburg Police were quick to get the situation under control and ensure the safety of other employees and guests.

23-year-old Jesse J. Stratton, of Pennsylvania, was arrested after police say he stabbed hotel employee Bert Fleming.

At least one man has been arrested and another hospitalized after a stabbing incident at the Blennerhassett Hotel shortly after 11:30 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

No more information is being released at this time. We will update this story as more becomes known.
