The Children's Home Society of West Virginia is a non-profit organization that helps kids find a good home.
They do this through foster care, adoptive services, emergency care, and volunteer mentor programs.
But being a non-profit requires lots of donations of both time and money. This outdoor music festival is a fundraising effort but also gets word out to the community.
"An event like this helps raise a small amount of local money to support our work that goes with our government contracts and other ways we fund the organization. And it really ties in to the community support that we're so appreciative of. We have some sponsors for this event as well as the people that come out. So we're just real excited to do it," says CEO Steve Tuck.
