Market Street in downtown Parkersburg was transformed into a block party Saturday afternoon.
Kids and parents got their groove on at the third annual Park Day hosted by the Parkersburg Bicycle Advisory Board.
It's a great opportunity to help promote the downtown and area businesses.
There were plenty of activities for all ages from hula hooping, hopscotching to a bike rodeo.
"It gives everybody an opportunity to come downtown to rediscover what's going on down here and it promotes Parkersburg. There's people from outside of Parkersburg or well that brings people to our city to see what's going on," says Parkersburg Mayor, Bob Newell.
A younger version of Elvis also made an appearance at Park Day 2013.
There was also a pocket park contest.
People got to design the pocket park they would like the city to create.
