Fall is in the air and the Salvation Army's Harvest Fest gives kids a safe, fun evening of Halloween festivities.
Lt. Mechelle Henry says kids can trick or treat right there in the building's gym.
There's also bouncy houses, games, prizes and lots of candy.
"This is just one avenue that we can help and support our young people and families in the community by giving them a safe place that they can take their children to come and trick or treat," Henry says. "We'll have games that the kids can play and just an opportunity for them to see what else the Salvation Army has to offer."
She says it's a great way to spend Halloween for kids and families.
Everyone can enjoy the free event Wednesday, October 30 from 6-8 p.m. at 534 Fifth Street.
