Our students are the future. Teach them well and prepare for tomorrow.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley held its annual Partner in Education luncheon.
Jill Parsons, executive director of the chamber, says it's a chance to get all the schools and business partners together to recognize their great accomplishments and celebrate those relationships.
“We had several new business partnerships that we recognized. Those are businesses that have decided to have a long-term commitment with several of our schools and so we were able to recognize those who have joined over the last couple of years," Parsons says. "That's always an exciting time to see that there is still an interest and a commitment to our school system here from the business community.”
Parsons says the Partner in Education program is a shining example of the business community wanting to see our school system succeed.
They want to give our students, teachers and principals the resources they need so we are graduating great students and developing a great student population.
