The North Pole was gone to the dogs Tuesday night at Grand Central Mall for pet photos with Santa.
The inaugural event was to raise money for the Humane Society of Parkersburg.
Over 100 animals showed up to have their picture taken with Santa for the important cause.
"The mall contacted us because they wanted to help the Humane Society raise some money for our shelter and they wanted to do a pet photos," says Michelle Earl, with the Humane Society of Parkersburg. "And they're donating $5 for every picture that is taken to the Humane Society of Parkersburg."
In addition to the photos the mall also set up a collection for the Humane Society and anyone who donated pet supplies received a free five by seven photo.
The mall says they are all animal lovers and want to make sure the animals have a safe and comfortable winter.
They also hope to hold the event again next year.
