Police Search for Suspect in Saturday Morning Stabbing

At about 2:30 Saturday morning Parkersburg police responded to reports of a stabbing victim at the St. Joseph's Campus of the Camden Clark Medical Center.

The stabbing happened at The Other Side bar on 19th street.

According to police, Lindsey Ray Adkins Jr. and two others stopped at the bar for drinks.

When the Adkins tried to open the door to the bar an unknown man kicked the door shut. The two then got into a fight.

Witnesses say Adkins ran back to his car saying he'd been stabbed. Both witnesses also say they saw the suspect holding a knife.

Adkins was stabbed in his torso and is listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30's with long dark hair standing about 5'5".
