UPDATE 10/3/2013 12:00 PM

A more than year-long drug investigation ends with two arrests in Parkersburg Thursday morning.

Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force agents executed a search warrant in the 1000 block of George Street just before 9 Thursday morning in regards to heroin and crack sales.

Inside agents found Michelle Curran who centered their investigation.

Sgt. Greg Collins says agents have been investigating Curran for nearly a year and a half now.

But unexpectedly, agents also found Columbus man Robert Jones, who has been the concentration of a separate drug investigation.

"He is, and has been, a focal point for not only the task force but the joint investigation group between the county, Parkersburg PD, and the State Police," says Sgt. Collins. "We have been working him recently and trying to work him often, so it was a pleasant surprise to find him inside this house and get him identified and take him off the street."

Sgt. Collins says crack cocaine was found inside the house.

Three children were also living in the home at the time.

Curran is charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession with the intent to deliver.

Jones is also charged with possession with the intent to deliver crack.

More charges are pending.

Both are in jail now.
