Raising Money To Visit 4-H Members in Montana

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser was held Sunday afternoon for a great cause in Beverly.

For the Washington County Interstate Exchange 4-H Club.

Many came out to the Beverly Masonic Lodge to chow down on some spaghetti and show their support for the 4-H Club.

The Interstate Exchange Club will be traveling to Montana from June 6th through the 10th.

They'll be visiting Montana's group of 4-H members.

It's all part of an exchange between the states as people from the 4-H Club in Montana came to visit Washington County last year.

"It's just nice to have the community support. My experience with 4-H has been that they always been willing to support 4-H and this is just an opportunity for them to do that and to send us on our way so we can represent 4-H from Washington County," says Ellie Tullius of the
Washington County Interstate Exchange 4-H Club.

The Intestate Exchange is a new club at the Washington County 4-H.

It's for members who are between the ages of 14 to 18 and must be in good standing.

All proceeds will go towards the club's traveling expenses to Montana.
