It was a soggy July fourth but that didn't stop people from celebrating.
And Friday night they're continuing in big fashion at the Red, White and Blues Festival in Marietta.
Hundreds came out to see well-known performers singing the blues.

ReStore Marietta is raising money for the beautification project downtown.
"Well, this is just another unique, fantastic event. We got a very collective bunch of blues performers here tonight. They are extremely well known, they got their own following and amazingly talented," says Blues Festival Committee Chair, Karen Briley.
This isn't the first time performing in the pioneer city for many of the acts.
They come from Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati and have made a name for themselves here in the valley.
