Students at one elementary school in Washington County got to have some fun with their teachers for a good cause.
Washington Elementary held it's Relay Recess Wednesday afternoon for the county's Relay For Life program.
Students were randomly chosen for a chance to have some fun with the faculty and staff by throwing cream pies, cutting pony tails for locks of love and even shaving a beard.
Special Education Teacher, Sally Latture, started the Relay For Life at the school three years ago in honor of her father.
"Well I think another focus that we have at our school is building respect in our school and we think this goes along with respecting our bodies, respecting other people and respecting other people who are not as lucky as we are," says Washington Elementary School First Grade Teacher, Bonnie Stalter.
Washington Elementary has raised more than $3,000 this year.
All proceeds will go to the Washington County Relay For Life.
