Righditarod Race Against Hunger

By  |

In Marietta Saturday a race like no other, all for a good cause.

Richard Simmons, Wendy Thompson and a mustached baby were just a few of the 45 people taking part in the 2014 Righditarod.

The annual Righditarod Race Against Hunger aims to raise money for local food pantries.

The name stems from the Iditarod sled dog race, which also happened over the weekend.

Starting at Food-4-Less, teams traveled to local nearby businesses, completing tasks like blowing bubbles and running relay, all while gathering food and money for Washington County's 12 food pantries.
