A Monday evening car accident leaves one woman dead.
The accident happened shortly before 9:00pm Monday night on Route 47 in Kanawha.
Wood County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Don Dougherty says 20 year old Tessa Rankin was driving west when she lost control, crossed into on coming traffic, hitting a car driven by 46 year old Dreama Hall head on.
Hall died at the scene.
Hall's 6 year old daughter, who was riding with her was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center.
The Wood County Crash Team is investigating.
