Salvation Army Needs More 'Angels' For Angel Tree

Christmas day is almost here with many children excited to open that gift Christmas morning.
But one local organization says they still need more help to make every area child's Christmas memorable.

The Parkersburg Salvation Army says they are looking for more Angels to donate.
They say they are appreciative and overwhelmed with the generosity of those who have donated so far but still need more help.
With Christmas just around the corner... there are still families and children left on the angel tree and less donations.

"Help make their Christmas so much better. It'll make a world of difference to that child when they have something going on when they can unwrap a gift and feel that Santa Claus is really still there," says Corps Officer, Major Vernon Dolby

The deadline for donating is Friday... but they say they'll be happy to accept gifts up until Christmas.
To donate or pick an angel-- simply stop by the Salvation Army.
