Another snow day for students means most extracurricular activities and sporting events are cancelled or postponed again.

Wood County's superintendent, Dr. Law, says the school closings have been affecting the sport practices and games.

Not only when they are closed, but teams across the state.

Coaches are working to balance safety and completing the season itself.

Dr. Law says it's important to make sure the students are not only focusing on school but getting the social interaction of academic clubs and sports.
