UPDATE: Man in Critical Condition Following Accident in Vincent

A single car crash leaves a man in critical condition and causes a gas leak.

The call came in just after 8:30 Wednesday night.

Authorities say a truck went off the road, hitting a utility pole and gas meter near Brackenridge Road.

Authorities say the driver was Kenny Fortney.

Fortney was taken to a Morgantown hospital, where he is listed in stable but critical condition.

The crash knocked out power along the street and caused a gas leak.

The leak has since been fixed.

The Barlow and Dunham Volunteer Fire Departments responded with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash is still under investigation.

The Barlow Volunteer Fire Department was called to a single car crash on Brackenridge Road in Vincent Wednesday night.

Firefighters were called out a little after 8:30 when a Chevy S-10 went off the road and ran into a utility pole and gas meter.

The driver was then taken to Camden Clark Medical Center, no word on his condition at this time.

Up to ten houses were without power. AEP Ohio was on scene working on the power line.

Brackenridge Road was closed all night due to a gas leak.

Dunham Township Fire Department, Barlow EMS and the Ohio State Highway Patrol were also there assisting with the accident.

The crash is still under investigation.
