Woodcraft employee Ben Bice, will be putting on a free demonstration on 'HOW TO TURN A PEN'.
Woodcraft of Parkersburg, 4420 Emerson Avenue
@ 1:00 pm
Why: For the past nine years, Woodcraft employees and customers have been making and sending handmade wooden pens to soldiers in active duty overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as to soldiers in rehabilitation and hospital facilities in the US and abroad. The idea is to show the troops that they are in our thoughts and prayers and that the sacrifices they have made so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have today are acknowledged and appreciated. We would hope that the pens would encourage them to write home to stay in touch with concerned friends and family members.
