Looking to hire a new director.
And budget cuts from the county aren't making things easier.
The Southeastern Ohio Port Authority works to keep building toward the future.
The organization's most recent director, Terry Tamburni, retired in December.
Last week they interviewed seven candidates for director, narrowing that down to three.
Those three will be carried forward to the full board on January 28.
The candidates will talk with the board and hopefully they will start working shortly thereafter.
The county still being their largest partner cut their funds for the Port Authority by $15,000 at the beginning of the year.
