A successful and busy weekend in Marietta as hundreds of people flooded the streets for The Ohio River Sternwheel Festival.
Officials say the weekend was a success and a safe time for everyone.
Captain Jeff Waite of Marietta Police Department says there were no big incidents.
Ohio DNR says there were no boating incidents and they only arrested one person under the influence operating a personal boat.
The Marietta Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Jeri Knowlton says she couldn't be happier with how the weekend went.
"All of the comments that we heard from the travelers as they were coming by our booth was just incredibly positive. And of course, they are known for their fireworks and everyone seemed to just really enjoy the fireworks Saturday evening, just when you think they can't top themselves they do," said Knowlton.
Officials say the great weather played a big part in number of people that came out to enjoy and packed the streets all weekend.
