Spring is right around the corner, even though it may not feel like it now. Soon enough, it'll be that time again -- for a food fest.
Bicentennial Park will be a culinary extravaganza come May 30th and 31st for the Taste of Parkersburg. Something to satisfy all taste buds.
Carrie Nesselrode, executive director of Downtown PKB says it's something you don't want to miss.
“We are looking to increase our vendors this year,” she says. “We're hoping to actually expand on some more beer vendors and we're also working with all the local restaurants to bring them in and have them have an opportunity to showcase their fine foods that they have for the people who are attending.”
Information about ticket sales, reserved seating and vendors will be available in the next few weeks.
According to Nesselrode, they also always need the support of volunteers, which helps make the event what it is.
If you want more information, attend their volunteer open house next Tuesday, March 18th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Blennerhassett Hotel.
